We have experienced a case of1 Cornelia de Lange Syndrome in a male infant. At first visit,
the patient showed typical appearance of microcephaly, cleft palate, generalized hirsutism
and growth retardation due to poor sucking since birth.
The face of the patient was characterized by micrognathia, antirrongolism slant of eyes,

We report a case of Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber Syndrome in a 12 years old boy who had
large port-wine hemangioma, soft tissue & bony hypertrophy and varicose veins on the lower
leg. On the skin lesion, there are several black papules & crops of skin colored eruptions which
were found out microscopically to be intraepidermal bleeding focuses & harmatomatous

Cervical masses are encountered frequently in pediatric practice. Hardly an upper respiratory infection occurs without lymphadenopathy and many of these enlarged lymph nodes persist for disturbingly long periods of time. Scattered among these innocent cervical masses are those which ultimately are found to be dangerous. A 8-yrs-old boy was admitted because of convulsion and coma. The diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome(key word) associated with hypertensive encephalopathy(key word) due to right adrenocortical carcinoma(key word) was made by clinical features, biochemical studies, radiological studies and pathological examination. The tumor was successfully resected by right adrenalectomy. But 22 months later after operation, he died of dyspnea and heart failure.... |
